About SCORE

SCORE is the nation’s largest provider of free business mentoring and educational programs for aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners. This non-profit organization, a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), has over 240 chapters around the country. SCORE’s 10,000 volunteer mentors are comprised of successful entrepreneurs, business owners, and corporate executives. These business experts donate over 4 million hours of time each year to help small businesses succeed. All of SCORE’s business mentoring services are provided at no cost to our clients. Savannah SCORE and its team of 40 volunteer mentors were named SCORE’s “2019 Mid-Market Chapter of the Year”. In 2020, the chapter was named a “Diamond Level Chapter”, an honor achieved by less than 10% of SCORE chapters. In 2021, the Chapter was honored as the “Outstanding Chapter for Community Partnerships”. Also, in 2021, Savannah SCORE helped 977 clients and presented 56 live and online workshops attended by over 3,100 people.
